Keane Helps Irish Juniors to 3rd in European Cross Country Championships

Brian Keane finished in a very credible 15th place at the European cross country championships in Slovenia today, helping the Irish Junior Team to the bronze medal. Gary Murray of Donegal was 8th. Cork’s other representative, Martin McCarthy of Leevale, had little to cheer about in the senior race, finishing a disappointing 36th place.

Carroll Wins 3000m at Harvard Invitational

Mark Carroll won the Harvard Invitational 3000m today in a time of 7:52. Former Leevale athlete Ken Nason was third in 8:20.

McCarthy and Keane Compete in Slovenia
