Mark Carroll kicked off his indoor season with a 1:48.93 800m at the Boston University Terrier Classic this weekend.  The race was won by fellow Irishman Daniel Caulfield from Westchester TC/DCH in 1:48.06, followed by Trinity Gray of Nike in 1:48.78.  Mark was 3rd, followed by Elliott Blount in 1:49.82, and Casey Learner in 1:51.04.  [...]

The Leevale men’s Cross-Country team took top honours at the Munster Senior Cross Country Championships in Kilmallock today.  Led by Bryan Keane who finished 2nd overall, the team finished with 48 points, ahead of North Cork with 62 points.  Other scorers for Leevale included Darren Keenan (14th), James McGee (15th), and Danny Herlihy (17th).  See [...]

There was a clean sweep of the honours by Kenyan athletes in the men’s 8km event at the Fila International Cross Country Meet, around the grounds of Stormont Castle today.  Daniel Gachara crossed the line in 24:18, winning the sprint for the line by a second ahead of Joseph Riri and Luka Keitany.  Seamus Power [...]
