Daire Walsh travelled to Scotland last weekend as part of the Irish team to compete in the Schools International Pentathlon. This was a great experience for Daire and he obtained four PB’s in the competition and was number two on the Irish team who finished third overall.

The 2008 running of the Cork County Senior & Junior Cross Country Championships were held in cool, bright conditions in Watergrasshill today. Though numbers were small overall, there was some competitive racing and team competitions on a course that was tough but fair.
