Munster U13-U17 Indoor Championships, Feb 7th & 8th

The Munster U13-U17 Indoor Championships will take place in Nenagh next weekend. This will be the first outing of the year for these athletes. For all athletes competing over the weekend please note the following:

Make sure to bring warm clothes, pack lunches and lots of fluids

Leevale Coach Appointed National Director of Sprints

Athletics Ireland has appointed Leevale Coach John Sheehan to the position of Director of Sprints.
John will have overall responsibility for the National Senior Sprints squad and the development of the sprints group. Athletics Ireland will shortly announce National event coaches to support John is his new role

Leevale entries were up for the Munster Junior & Senior Indoor Championships, held in Nenagh last Sunday. It was great to see Leevale’s Junior and Senior athletes out in force.
In the Junior Women’s events Rebecca Corbett is finding form early in the season and finished a strong second in both the 60m & 200m events.
