It was a great day for Leevale at the Cork County Novice & Masters Road Championships, held at Carrignavar today. There were team victories in the Men’s and Women’s Novice, a team second in the Masters Men, an individual win in the women’s event, and a fantastic turnout in the men’s event with 12 Leevale runners competing overall.

Leevale juvenile athletes competed at the National Indoor Juvenile competition over the weekend. Jack Murphy had the performance of the meet by smashing the boys under 12 national indoor high jump record. Jack won the competition at 1.31m and then went on to repeatedly break the 1.33m record by clearing 1.34m, 1.37m and finally 1.40m. [...]
