| Four Leevale athletes were today named in the Irish teams for the World Cross Country Championships, to be held in Belfast at the end of this month. Mark Carroll was pre-selected for the short course, while Martin McCarthy and Cathal Lombard earned their places in the Long Course team by virtue of finishing 4th and 5th respectively in the National Cross Country Championships.
