 At the Herculis Zepter Grand Prix meet in Monaco tonight, Mark Carroll ran one of his greatest races ever to smash his own 3,000m record. Mark finished 5th in a time of 7:30.36, three seconds faster than his previous record, and the sixth fastest time in the world this year. Limo Benjamin (Kenya) won in a time of 7:28.67, followed by Salah (Morocco), Brahim (Morocco), Komen (Kenya), Mark, El Hassan (Morocco), and Kennedy (USA). Athletes like Paul Koech, Paul Bitok, and Manuel Pancorbo were further back the field. |
