| Last week’s John Buckley four mile road race saw a very welcome return to racing by Garrett Barry, recovering from a serious illness. His winning time of 19:40 saw him six seconds clear of Alan O’Connor from Clonmel, with Roy Fahy of Leevale a further second behind. They were followed home by Richard O’Brien, Shane Simcox and Cathal O’Connell. Mary Sheehan added another victory to her vast collection with an easy win from Niamh O’Sullivan, Eleanor Threadgold, Carmel Parnell of Leevale, and Mary Murphy. |
