 Jason Foolkes of Leevale led McNeese State to 4th place in the Southland Conference Cross Country Championships, with a 9th place individual performance. Earlier in the season, Jason placed 6th at the Louisiana State Invitational running 25:56 for 8k. Jason also placed 6th at the NSU Invitational (5 October) covering 8k in 27:15, and 5th at the Baylor Invitational (25 September) covering the 8k in 26:15. At the first race of the season, the McNeese State Invitational on September 11th, Jason was 2nd in a time of 15:26 for 5k. |
