| At the 13th annual Shanagarry festival 5k tonight, Jason Foolkes of Leevale record an easy victory in a time of 15.41, with Eric Meade of East Cork second in 16:07, ahead of Damien Collins of Leevale, Martin Treacy of Clonliffe Harriers, and Jason Nicholl of Ballincollig. Foolkes is a scholarship student at McNeese State University. Mary Sweeney of St. Finbarrs won the womens race in 18.56 from Catriona McGreggor of Midleton. |
