Brian Keane finished in a very credible 15th place at the European cross country championships in Slovenia today, helping the Irish Junior Team to the bronze medal. Gary Murray of Donegal was 8th. Cork’s other representative, Martin McCarthy of Leevale, had little to cheer about in the senior race, finishing a disappointing 36th place.
