| Dareen Dineen placed fifth in the second 800m race at the IAAF Grand Prix Meet in Reiti tonight, missing out again on that elusive Olympic A-standard. Running in the slower of the two races, Dareen finished in 1:48.27, well outside the A-standard. Unfortunately for Darren, the first race was much faster, won in a time of 1:43.74 by Andrea Longo of Italy. All eight finishers in that race finished inside the A-standard. (Race 2 Results). |
