| The Leevale men’s Cross-Country team took top honours at the Munster Senior Cross Country Championships in Kilmallock today. Led by Bryan Keane who finished 2nd overall, the team finished with 48 points, ahead of North Cork with 62 points. Other scorers for Leevale included Darren Keenan (14th), James McGee (15th), and Danny Herlihy (17th). See photo below (left). In the Junior race, James Grufferty finished 3rd, a minute behind the winner. Middle photo shows Grufferty battling with Fergus Meade, who eventually finished 5th. In the Women’s race, Carmell Parnell (photo on right) finished a very creditable 3rd, behind Louise Cavanagh and Carmel Crowley. (Results).
