At the European Cross Country Championships in Switzerland today, Martin McCarthy continued his return to form with a mid-pack 46th place. Seamus Power was first for the Irish in 29th place, followed by Vinnie Mulvey in 37th, Martin, Gareth Turnbull in 60th, and Peter Mathews in 66th. The team finished in 10th place. The women’s team faired better, coming home in 5th place.
