 At the Irish University Track & Field Championships held at Santry this weekend, Leevale’s James McGee continued the form he showed two weeks ago at the Cross-Country event, when he finished second in the 10,000m. McGee, competing for the Cork Institute of Technology, finished in 31:57.39, eleven seconds behind the winner Gary Thornton from NUI Galway. Thornton was also the winner two weeks ago, when McGee finished 7th. Colin Coyne of Waterford IT was third this weekend in 32:17.95. ( Full Results). |
