| The annual Evening Echo Ladies Mini Marathon takes place on Sunday. 2,250 entries have already been received and it is likely there will be over 6,000. the race starts in Grand Parade and finishes in White Street car park. Entries can be made at the race office in Emmet Place on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. With €4,000 in prize money it’s well worth competing in. Last year Ann Keenan Buckley was a runaway winner, while Sonia O’Sullivan won the previous year. |
