With most of Leevale’s athletes competing in their preferred events in Antrim last weekend a small band of Leevale athletes travelled to Tullamore today for day three of the AAI Juvenile T&F Championships. David Quilligan had an excellent win in Boys U19 long jump with an impressive 6.70m jump. David also competed in the 200m and finished just outside the medals in time of 22.62s.
Shauna Fagan competed in the Girls U14 1500m, she ran a brave race leading out the field and eventually finished a strong third.

The juvenile athletes will travel to Tullamore once more this season for the National Relays which be held on July 26th. The following Leevale teams have qualified:
