The U10-U14 Munster indoor Championships were held in Nenagh last weekend. This was the first time that many of these athletes competed as individuals. A large number of athletes and supports traveled on both days. The standard of competition was high, however Leevale athletes fared well.
RESULTS: Emma O’Brien was back to winning form in the girls U13 60m. Ciara Nalty won the GU12 High Jump in a very entertaining competition with a height of 1.21. This is a new club best for this age group. Her teammate Marie O Halloran was unlucky to finish 4th in the same event.
Chelsie Wright had a double in the GU12 comfortably winning both 60m and the Long Jump.
