Leevale hosted the annual 96FM athletics camp at CIT today. The wet conditions did not dampen the enthusiasm of the 120 young athletes who took part. All the young participants got the opportunity to be coached in Shot Putt, Javelin, Sprints, Long Jump, High Jump, Hurdles and Relays. Sonia O’Sullivan was there to coach & train with the participating athletes.
Leevale AC are delighted to partner with 96FM in this promotion of athletics. We hope that all the kids who participated will join their local athletics club as a result of this experience.
