Presentation of the Athletic Association of Ireland Juvenile Star Awards took place in the Arklow Bay Hotel, Arklow on Saturday 21st March.
David Quilligan was selected for the Bill Battersby special award. The selection was based on his performances at National Juvenile Track & Field and Indoor Championships in 2008.
England based Leevale athlete Paul Scanlon won the overseas award. Paul is currently focusing on the 400m event.
