Patrick Maher was today presented with the inaugural Cork City Sports Athletics Award. The event is held in association with the Cork City Sports, The Cork Hotel, 96 & 103 FM, and the Evening Echo. It is a great honour for Patrick and for Leevale to be chosen as the first recipient of this prize.
It has been a great season so far for Patrick, his recent win in the 400m hurdles at the All-Ireland Schools coming just a week after achieving the standard for the EYODs.
