Patrick Maher edges closer to the qualifying standard for the European Youth Olympics.

In winter like conditions Patrick won the senior 400m hurdles in a time of 55.09, just 0.29 outside the qualifying standard. Clubmate Chris Murnane finished second in the same event. Edmond O’Halloran, who already has the qualifying standard for the EYODs, comfortably won the senior 110m hurdles.

In an extremely competitive senior 400m, Cathal Owens finished third.

Kate Humphries finished first in the senior 200m and second in the 400m Hurdles.

Caroline Murnane qualified for the All-Ireland Schools finishing second in the intermediate long jump with a PB of 4.93m.

Ryan Creech’s recovery from injury continues and as he eases back to competition he finished second in the senior 5000m.

David Killeen had an excellent win in the intermediate 200m and subsequently finished second in the 100m.
