On Friday in Midleton, in conjunction with the South Munster Schools, the first ever CIT v UCC Cross Country match took place. The event was won by UCC and Leevale’s George Boyle and a well-known Leevale coach also featured prominently! Weather conditions were dreadful, yet there were good fields in all schools races.
