Leevale senior athletes were is action today in Nenagh at the AAI Indoor Games. Cathal Owens posted the fastest time of 51.84 seconds to take gold in the men’s 400m. David Quilligan finished second in the long jump with a jump of 6.69m.
Katey Byrd competed in the women’s 60m Hurdles and posted a time of 9.59 seconds to take second place.
This was a good warm up event for the Senior Indoor Championships which will take place in Belfast on February 6h & 7th.
