Athletics Ireland has nominated Leevale A.C. to compete in the European Junior Men Clubs Championships in September 2011. This nomination is based based on the fact that Leevale AC currently has the strongest junior men’s team in the country.
The backbone of the team are Patrick Maher, David Killeen, Paul Scanlan and Edmond O’Halloran. It is now up to the younger junior athletics in the club to impress for selection.
This a great honour for the club and is credit to the dedication and hard work of the athletes and coaching staff.
