There was a strong showing from the Leevale men at yesterday’s County Intermediate Cross Country Championships, held in conjunction with the Juvenile B competition at Carrignavar. Chris Harrington, who is in flying form at the moment, led the team home, finishing second overall. Not far behind were Thomas Maunsell in 4th, and Donal Coffey 5th. Robbie Williams completed the scoring four, finishing 12th overall to bring the Leevale team home for a good win.
In the women’s event, Sinéad O’Connor continued her return to form, having a great run to finish 2nd.
