Luke Hickey won the BU18 5k walk in a time of 23:35:03, this was 4 minutes ahead of his nearest rival. Recent warm weather training in Spain and coaching advice from Robbie Heffernan has really helped Luke to up his game in the walk.
Philip Crowley ran a brave race in the BU18 1500m to finish in third place.
Jessica Sheehan took third place in the GU18 200m final and was unfortunate t finish just outside the medals in the long jump. Sean O’Callaghan also finished in 4th place in the BU14 200m final, a stronger bend run would have definitely put him in the medals.
Christine Neville finished in third place in the GU19 200m just ahead of her sister Jessica.
