Chris Harrington has been the stand-out performer of the Leevale men’s distance group this year and he continued his good form at tonight’s Donoughmore 7. Just 48 hours after winning the Carrigtwohill 5K, he was back in action on the tough 7 mile circuit and ran very consistently throughout to finish 2nd, beaten only by Bantry’s Alan O’Shea. Further back, Cillian Ó Tuama finished 6th and James Grufferty, suffering from running 3 races in 6 days, finished 11th.
