A period of consistent training is paying off for John Shine, as he showed some of his form of old in taking victory at tonight’s Cheetah Run 4 mile road race. John has gradually been getting back towards his best this season, and took tonight’s race in an impressive time of 20:46, over ten seconds ahead of Shane Coffey of Togher. It was a good night all round for Leevale as Barry Donovan took third overall in this hugely popular event, which was held in Fota Wildlife Park and organised by Eagle AC.
