Leevale athletes dominated the top positions at the County Novice Road Championships, which were held in Ballinhassig this morning. The Novice and Masters Championships were being held in conjunction with the annual Paddy Desmond Memorial 4 Mile race, hosted by Rising Sun AC.
The men’s race was won by Wieslaw Sosnowski of Eagle, just ahead of Leevale’s Chris Harrington, who set another PB of 21:03. John Shine and James Grufferty weren’t far behind in 5th and 6th positions, both just outside 21:30. Robbie Williams also had a good run in 16th.
