Lizzie Lee was presented yesterday with the Southside and District Sports Award for the month of June. The presentation took place in the Cork International Airport Hotel, and was in recognition of her fine victory in the Cork Half-Marathon at the beginning of the month. In attendance at the awards ceremony were her coach, Donie Walsh, club chairman Liam Horgan, Ina Killeen, Áine Murphy, along with the Deputy Lord Mayor and County Mayor.
