Both Carmel Parnell and Ann Moore were recently selected on the Irish teams to compete at the Home Countries International Cross Country event, which will take place in Glasgow on 26 November next. While Carmel competes regularly for Irish teams on the international scene, it will be a first appearance in Irish colours for Ann. Ann has made massive progress since starting training with Donie Walsh’s distance group last year and had several age category wins at local road races over the summer. International selection is just reward for her efforts.
