Mark Hanrahan has been in great form this summer and was unlucky recently on a couple of occasions to just miss out on breaking the 4-minute mile. There was some small consolation for him at last night’s BHAA\Novartis 5K, where he broke his own course record with a very fast 14:34. Mark won the race by almost a minute and a half. Eric Curran also had a great run to finish 2nd, just inside the 16-minute mark at 15:57. Carmel Parnell finished 6th in the ladies’ race and won the F55 category.
