It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of a great Leevale Clubman, Joe Nagle. Joe passed away after a short and courageous fight with cancer.
Joe epitomised the spirit of Leevale and was always available to serve the club. It is only a few short weeks since Joe was last at the track coaching young Leevale athletes the techniques of shot putt. Joe represented Leevale & Ireland on the International stage; the highlight of this career had to be his medal winning participation in the 2007 Special Olympics in Shanghai.
His loss to the club and athletics will be immense. We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and huge circle of friends.
