Lizzie Lee was in action for Ireland at the European Cross Country Championships today and her superb 23rd overall placing meant she was the 4th scorer on the Irish team. Fionnuala Britton retained her individual title from last year and the Irish team took overall victory, just pipping the French on countback. It is a great achievement for Lizzie and the Irish team to come home with European gold.
