Leevale were the top club at the AAI Indoor Juvenile Relays held in AIT today. Leevale were the only club to win three titles, and were closely followed by Galway City Harriers and St. Laurence O’Toole with two each.
Girls U13: Kaitlyn Coffey, Chloe McCarthy, Emma Quigley, Chloe O’Mahony and sub Andrea Ring broke Liscarroll’s 2012 55.29 record time when they won the 4x100m in a time of 54.17
Boys U13: Tyreik Wright, Jamie O’Sullivan, Colin Doyle and Thomas White won the 4x100m in a time of 53.67.
Boys U16: Luke Ring, Adam Buckley, Matthew Murnane & Jack Murphy completed the hat-trick by convincingly winning the 4x200m in a time of 1:39.33
There were also strong runs for the BU14 & BU17 teams who both finished fourth, just outside the medal positions.
