Bryan Keane takes Belgooly title

Bryan Keane took the honours at the annual 4 miler in Belgooly this morning. Held in chilly, calm conditions, the race up front was competitive as Bryan prevailed in 19:36 after a good battle with James McCarthy of East Cork. Seán McGrath finished 3rd and Alan O’Shea 4th. Counting places outside of the individual prizewinners, Leevale won the team title with Josh O’Sullivan leading the team home in 11th, ahead of Cillian Ó Tuama and Owen Cummins.

The women’s race was won by Jill Hodgins, with Niamh Walsh the first Leevale lady home in 2nd.
