Lizzie Lee and Dave Comber were both in action at the Dunshaughlin 10K last Saturday. The fast course draws a high-quality field each year and this year was no exception. The men’s race was won by Mark Kenneally in 29:46 ahead of Freddy Keron of Kenya. Lizzie took the honours in the women’s race in a phenomenal 34:08, which was a new course record. This put her a full 2 minutes ahead of her nearest competitor. Dave also got a PB in spite of having to stop mid-way with a stitch.
