It was a great 1-2 for Leevale at last night’s 4 miler in Fota Wildlife Park, organised by Eagle AC. Ben Thistlewood made a rare road appearance and duly delivered with a great win in 19:42. Next home in 19:57 was James Grufferty, who has been in great form recently. Brian Carr finished 8th, Brian Hegarty 11th, and Leevale had 7 athletes in the top 20. Ann Moore also finished first in the F45 category.
Meanwhile, Donal Coffey finished 4th in the Fermoy 5K, which took place at the same time as the Fota race.
