After a top 7 performance at the ETU Junior Cup two weeks ago Leevale’s Chris Mintern won a silver medal at the Athlone ETU Junior Cup race. This was the first time an Elite Junior Cup race had been held in Ireland. Chris finished 2nd to current world bronze medallist Con Doherty and 3rd was Frenchman Emile Blondel.
