The Intervarsity Indoor Championships were held on Friday 7th February in the AIT arena. It was a good day for Leevale athletes with a wins for Sinead O’Connor in the 3000m and Luke Hickey in the 2K walk, 7:49.25, a new UCC record. Leevale athletes were instrumental in UUC women’s 2nd and men’s 3rd place finishes in the team event.
