World Champion Rob Heffernan sets up a race walking academy in Cork. It is Rob’s intention to create a multi-club training group and to make Cork a centre of excellence for Race Walking.
Rob will hold an open session every Monday evening at UCC track 7-8pm. Athletes of all ages from all clubs are welcome to come along an experience race walking.
Rob states “this initiative is very close to my heart and I hope it will be a success. I encourage athletes from all clubs to join us on Monday nights to see what we have to offer”
