The Leevale contingent dominated affairs at front of the field at the BHAA\UCC 10K yesterday. Eric Curran took the overall prize, covering the undulating Lee Road\Straight Road circuit in an impressive 32:31, just 7 seconds ahead of Chris Harrington in 2nd. John Shine also had a good run, 4th in 33:03. Rob Patterson was also in the top 10, 7th in 35:30.
Annette Quaid also got back to winning ways over the weekend, as she easily took victory in a 4K race in CLoyne.
Meanwhile, a small Leevale contingent travelled to Kilmallock for the Munster Road Championships, where the novice team took 2nd place. The team was: John O’Connell, Finbarr O’Dwyer, Dave Comber and Colm Murphy.
