The 64th Cork City Sports takes place on Tuesday 7th July at 5:30pm. As usual there promises to be a great senior programme with athletes the calibre of Mark English, Johnny Dutch, and Alex Wright alread confirmed to compete. As with previous years, a Juvenile 300m Gala will take place before the start of the senior programme.
The year, Leisureworld Bishopstown are sponsoring an Open Men’s 3K for athletes who have run between 8:45 and 9:15 in the past 12 months. The 3K will be held along with the main senior programme. There is a limit of 3 athletes per club and athletes must be over 18.
