Leevale athletes had a great day on the second day of the main programme of the County Juvenile T&F Championships at CIT. The club finished in 32 of the medal positions, and was to the fore in the sprints with titles for Theo Twomey (BU10 60m), Caitlin Hennessey (GU12 60m), Reece Ademola (BU13 80m), Robert Twomey (BU14 200m), Tara Healy (GU15 200m), Conor Morey (BU15 200m) and Adam Buckley (BU18 100m). The sprinting dominance was typified by the club having 4 finalists in the GU12 60m.
It was great to see Leevale athletes so prominent in the high jump with 4 wins in all: Caitlin Hennessy (GU12), Reece Ademola (BU13), John Forde (BU15) and Hannah Murphy (GU16).
There were also victories for Sadhbh Condon (GU10 Turbo Jav), Wymin Sivakumar (BU14 LJ), John Forde (BU15 80mH) and Abdi Mohamed (BU18 800m).
