Louise Shanahan travelled to Watford over the weekend to compete in the 800m at the British Milers Club meet. Louise won the race with a PB of 2:08.15. This was her second time inside the B standard and should secure her selection for the European Junior Championship in July.
Louise will join fellow Leevale athlete Sam Healy who will compete at the long jump at the European Junior Championships.
Eskilstuna, Sweden will host the 2015 European Athletics Junior Championships for under-20 athletes. The championships will be held 16-19 July 2015 at the Ekängens arena.
