While the Leevale T&F Meet and the National Road Relays were the main focus of attention last weekend, the club also had some athletes in action at Great Railway Run on Sunday morning. The event, comprising 5K, 10K and 25K events, takes place along the walkway following the route of the old railway line from Blackrock to Carrigaline. In the 25K, Nollaigh O’Neill had a great win, her second in a week having won a half marathon in Spain the previous weekend. In the 10K James Grufferty took the honours, covering the disance in 34:30.
