Leevale athletes travelled to Waterford IT to compete in the 2015 Munster Even Age Cross Country Championships.
The day started on a very positive note with victory for Nicole Dinan in the GU10 race in doing so leading the Leevale team to victory. Team; Nicole Dinan, Clare Crowley, Fatima Amusa, Okwu Bakari, Luice Healy & Simone Looney
This was followed with a gold team win for the Leevale BU14 team; Rain Brennan, Tommie Connolly, Diarmuid Desmond, Craig Harrington, Eoghan Heaney, Tiernan Morrisey & Sean Mintern
Ben Smith continues to improve his middle distance skills and finished a strong 10th in the BU16 race.
Charlie O’Donovan finished 2nd in a sprint finish in the BU18 race. Matt Murnane finished 11th in the same race.
Chris Mintern took a good bronze in the Novice Men’s race, and with Donal Coakley 6th, Michael Pat O’Regan 9th and Tomás Kenefick 19th, Leevale took team gold. See full Novice & U23 report.
