The summer road racing season continues in full swing with a large number of events taking place over the past week. On Friday evening, Mark Hanrahan was the runaway winner of the Donoughmore 7 miler. Mark had almost 3 minutes to spare over the 2nd placed runner. In the same race, Jame Grufferty finished 6th.
Also on Friday evening, Brian Hegarty had a good win in the Shannonvale 10K.
Last week, there was a big 5K in Carrigtwohill where Helen Leonard finished 3rd.
