Leevale juvenile athletes traveled to Athlone IT to compete in the AAI pentathlon on Saturday.
Reece Ademola was victorious in boys U14 pentathlon setting a new championship record score of 2542 points. He cleared a meet record 1.69 in the HJ. Hugh Collins also has a great day, finishing just outside the medals.
Tommy Connolly stormed to victory in the 800m to claim 3rd overall in the U15 pentathlon.
